Since the 4th July, over 100 operators have signed up to use our completely free track & trace solution, designed to support operators in doing their bit to prevent further spikes in Coronavirus. Three weeks in, we thought we’d take a view on how it’s going and have been delighted by the results, which demonstrate that our customers are taking their responsibilities really seriously.
Taking a view on our top 50 performing sites in isolation, we’ve seen more than 16,000 successful registrations for T&T from almost 13,000 unique users. This represent a 38% uplift in logins compared to the same time period in February, which is significant, particularly since many operators are running at less than 40% of their usual capacity.
What’s even more exciting for marketers is the number of guest who registered and subsequently went on to login to Wi-Fi and opt-in for marketing. 80.2% of unique users went to use the guest Wi-Fi, with 63.8% of them opting in for marketing messages from the operators. With email marketing often increasing visit frequency between 30% – 50%, this represents a great opportunity for operators to build their guest communications and drive repeat visits.
Some of the operators we’ve seen doing a fabulous job with T&T include Apostrophe, ACI, Beds & Bars, Brewhouse & Kitchen, Revolution, Brasserie Bar Co, Wildwood, Yo!, Buzzworks & Urban Pubs.
It’s great to see so many operators taking their responsibilities seriously.
